Maison Aux Pois Furmint 2022 75cl

It starts out as a classic Furmint in the glass, with restrained minerality, basalt after rain. Then the aroma of grapefruit and peach explodes in the glass. Round, lovely sip, a nice balance of natural residual sugar and vibrant Tokaji acids. Flattering, clean, with white-fleshed fruits, apple and peach, with fresh summer pear at the end, fruit flavors filling the mouth everywhere. No unpleasant edges, a rolling, round, yet airy sip, a real “I want a second glass” experience. Crystal clear, lovely.
