Royal Warrant
Royal Warrants can be tracked back to the 1300s, but it was in 1897 that the Royal Warrant Holders Association was formed and granted a Royal Charter by Queen Victoria.
In 1994, we were granted the Royal Warrant as Grocers to Her Majesty the Queen.
Today, firms that hold the Royal Warrant include grocers like Partridges, wine merchants, chemists, plumbers, mole catchers and dressmakers.
The distinguishing feature, no matter the size of the company, is to provide the highest standards of service. Many of them are family businesses going back several generations and form the fabric of this nation.
It was a great honour for me in 2008 to be President of the Royal Warrant Holders Association. The Association comprises 800 firms who supply the Royal household on a regular basis. They are all located around Britain, the main concentration being in London and the 4 royal residences of Windsor, Sandringham, Balmoral and, of course, Holyrood House. (Thank you Jamie).
In December 2024, we were granted the Royal Warrant as Grocers to His Majesty the King.
This year is our 31st anniversary of being a Royal Warrant Holder.
